And 500-600hp S2k's are now as common as stock S2000's
That sounds like what people where going around saying when kutsujula made 700 on the stock motor - "now S2000's are making 700whp on the stock motor". No, 1 S2000 did that.
Not a jab at you but stuff like that gets on my nerves. It makes this car seem more tough and easy to mod than it really is. Its not a civic. Yet anyway. This thread about the tranny pretty much proves that.

ROFL no they're not!!! Just because you see a few in this forum doesn't mean they're "everywhere" lol

Whether it gets on your nerves or not, it means squat towards resolving the trans issue.
Get out some, at least virtually. Just about every 2 other S2000 out there are making quite a bit more hp than stock and to my personal knowledge it doesn't take much to grenade the trans or the rear. And this is if you drive/shift like a man to get good track times. There are a good number of s2k's making over 400hp and I'm sure you don't know about it because you just don't know about it or they don't post. So yess, they are...
Has nothing to do with being easy or difficult as we all know that it takes some dough to be a big dog. My point is that there are quite a considerably decent amount of S2000's out there rolling with big hp that need a trans solution. So I don't know WTF you talking about me saying that its easy to mod. So this is all in your head man. I would already have a trans solution myself if it was easy to mod mechanically and financially....

And just like 5plusjuan stated, the bar is being raised on what the stock motor can handle and again a solution is needed...
Not sure what value your personal feelings added to this post anyway... Stay on topic
i will admit you see alot more s2k's in the 500-700 range then you did 4 years ago. thats def. theres like 5 of them now in the 700+ club, where 4 years ago i knew of 1. i am not saying stock HG cars, but just s2k in general.
500whp theres an assload now. hell, 300-400whp became commonplace now.
are there as many as stock ones, well that statement was made to not be taken 100% factual. i think it was said to show that theres so many more then what there was just a few years ago.
that being said, i would love to see a strong tranny option that is not 10k+. be nice to see all these 500+whp s2ks going to the track and raping face instead of suffering death at the track.
i saw above some companies are working on this, but at what price point?

sometimes metaphors confuse people...
It was a horrible metaphor.
And I do get out sir, in the real world not just the internet. Don't get confused because of what you see in this forum...we are the extreme crowd. Around here, yea 400-500 is the average. Outside of this forum and this site, the average S2k enthusiast stays with I/H/E and struggles to break 225whp.
I think you get my point and I get yours, don't want to take this train off the tracks more than I already have.

I am not confused but someone else seems a bit challenged with their personal feelings...
So you say around here yeah 400-500 is the average?
Don't you think maybe this thread came about for these people that are making that kind of power that need a trans solution? Outside of that, well what can I say, I can't argue with a statistician, now bring on the proof and the sources.
Bet you can't tell me for sure neither can I tell you for sure how many people outside of here don't post here or are part of another forum. Been around long enough to know this. And regardless of that, the solution is here for the significant number of us here interested, which again is significant enough.
But at any rate who cares? Your comments are outside of the context of this thread, once again.
You undoubtedly did take the train off the tracks already and it's time to stop
