Thumbs down E-Ram

check it out
http://www.electricsupercharger.com/

this thing is 300buck.

it looks ok and like the tornado air or http://www.turbonator.com/ , but the difference is electronic.. Not a big fan.

But it has dyno result and featured in magazine. So is it legit? I don't know. I don't see any S2000 dyno. So maybe not for us.

What you guys think?
let beat this to death. hahha

Buy 5 of them and then put them in a row and you will more than likely be able to beat johny tran, and also you can stomp a STi with 400awhp, these things should be illegal they are so sweet

I dyno'd 15 extra horsepower with the addition of my e-ram. I also got 3 more miles to the gallon.

I don't see a downside.

If you've ever ran an SC without the connector tube from the SC to the engine, you'll know the enormous amount of airflow required to achieve boost.

It is 100% impossible for an electric motor that size to create boost.

Hey bill, but this thing might be good for replacing our bathroom exhaust fans with! :-)

No, it's too small for even that.

It is on the order of the magnets on the fuel line to improve atomization and fuel economy.

Believe it or not, a fan that size could not even boost a lawnmower. And I'm not being funny.

A while back a magazine did some tests on it and found that in most cases there was a LOSS in power due to greater intake restrictions.
