Cman, if you don't mind me asking, whats the price tag for all that work + initial cost of the blower setup...just curious, no flaming..
what i paid for the kit + the stuff i put into it = about 6k. i say 6k cuase the aem ems and the meth kit can be salvaged over to a turbo kit, so i dont count that stuff.
if the work i just put into it yields bubkus, well then im gonna be pissed, but whatever.
now if someone wanted to go turbo, then yeah, for the same money i have spent, and bare in mind i purchased new, you could have a 450-500whp turbo s2k, hell on a budget build i bet you could go north of 500.
honestly, when i first did FI, i wanted 300whp, now i am jsut over 340whp, and i want more. i see people turbo there car and make 350-400 and i say, god if i go thru the work changing to turbo, you better believe this thing is going 500+.
I WILL CAUTION EVERYONE THAT GOES FI, ITS A DAMN DRUG.
anywho, i am really interested in what this will bring me. if this is some magic shit, i will be happy. i spoke with bob yesterday, dude from stiegmieier and they take porting seriously. he is a fanatic about it and feels really good about the work he is doing for me. i showed him the original dyno i did, i showed him it mounted, and told him its spinning around 18k rpm.
he still feels pretty good about the results. SO, i will hopefully have some good news in the next few weeks.
I've been wondering if you might see gains from trying a different intercooler and piping. Is the current setup pretty well optimized for the amount of airflow the SC puts out? Or might a FMIC yield different results?
I've also been wondering about the idea of cutting a vent at the back of the hood (near the base of the windshield) over the SC intake. If that's indeed a high pressure region, it might send colder / somewhat higher pressure air into the SC. You could fab up an airbox around the filter area to keep the higher pressure air from dispersing into the rest of the engine bay. Of course, a hood scoop should be even better for this.
This is where I could make myself useful... I bought a Magnehelic gauge the other day intending to drive around and measure the air pressure at different places on the hood, but I've been too busy (read: lazy) modding my Greddy kit to do it.

Running the numbers stiegemeier said can be gained.
Getting 250wtq peek and 350whp peek at around 7-8psi is looking possible with my current timing curve.
350/250 was my goal for my car given what I use the car for.
I may need to also port my blower.
I am planing upgrades in the near future
Bigger radiator with intergrated oil cooler (PWR)
Water injection.
Air box force feed via hood scoop.

That like saying you are a master at building a straw house.

If I upgrade the tuning solution I would go with AEM V2 as I have already generated and tuned a map using the V2 on fully prep SOT supercharged car.
The wide band A/F feed back is one of my most favorite features of the ULT/AEM
Its so "preped" the front window was cut off for weight reduction and get additional air to the rear spoiler
