um.. i just wired my ignition harness and i got a p1399 for multiple misfires? anyone have an idea of what went wrong?

this is what i did:
i found the 4 ignition wires, pins 4, 12, 13, 14 and i cut them and solder in the greddy ignition harness. Four of the greddy wires was soldered into the wires that was going into the ecu and the other 4 wires were soldered to the other half of the oringinally cut wires. and so at the other end of the greddy wires, i plugged them into the specific holes in the plastic harness going into the emanage. i wired the ignition harness to the emanage in the correct firing order too. 1-4-3-2 i just double checked my work and everything seems to be fine. help?

I just got my igintion harness installed.......and retard the timing after 6k rpm and put a little bit more fuel on it........Bingo!! No detonation.......maybe just one or two ping around 7.5k rpm. I still need to do a little more precise tuning on it. Overall, it does cure my top-end dentonation problem

The most i did so far is -3 deg on timing......if I need to pull more timing out how much farther I could go?
