If you were running really lean at the colder temps (which makes more sense), and then it warmed up you should run a bit less lean, meaning some power loss since the leaner you are the more HP you will make. So that would mean you lost power and got slower.
If you were running rich at the colder temps, and then it got warmer, you should run even more rich meaning more loss in power... so I still don't see how you would feel faster at warmer temps...
