"Mechanically everything looks fine. The valves are set properly. Everything is working but we just aren't getting enough flow of oil to properly engage vtec.
It still sound and feels like half the cylinders engage. We will test the oil pressure today and I will look into the suggestions in your emails. "
(I sent clips from this thread)

Um, this leads me to believe they never tested the oil pressure :/ But again, I'm not there to oversee. I trust them completely.

I believe they did unplugg or at least check the VTEC solenoid. I was there for that day. they did say it seemed like only half the cylinders were engaging, and sounds like they still believe that. I wonder why my oil pressure would be low if that's the case.

Changed the sandwich plate, put thicker oil in there...

UR.com said to rule out the oil relocation lines by moving the oil filter closer and see if that changes. So we'll see.

The Emanage has the code on it

Some semi-good news...

Although my car sits where it was last week at this time, Darryl at Ultimate Racing let me know that they have a car there with the same problem it seems.

So whatever solution they are able to find there will hopefully lead to the solution to my car as well.

Crossing fingers and patiently waiting...

HURRY DARRYL!!! hehe, just kiddin'!

Just make sure you keep us informed on UR's progress because I haven't heard anything from Darryl about their problem. I'm now wondering if I have more problems with mine than I thought. It sure does feel like it pulls really hard at top though after I figured out my oil pressure problem.

an anecdote from my oil pressure problem that Spoolin helped with also was something I noticed:

Do you have your wastegate to atmosphere? Is it really loud in vtec? Mine was really loud when the wastegate was open and VTEC was supposedly kicking in, but wasn't.

That's a good point.

Just got an email today. It says that oil pressure seems fine, and that everything looks fine mechanically.

They have just decided, that perhaps it has to do with the Emanage or the tune. I would think the Emanage is correctly wired up, b/c if it weren't, wouldn't it throw some sort of error light on the until and not allow any tuning?

And if it's just simply tuning, this bothers me b/c I've had two shops attempt to tune it already.

Did you run the oil lines correctly to the oil relocator? Top block adapter line goes towards the firewall side on the sway bar section of the relocator.

Also, what oil filter are you using? Maybe the one you have doesn't have a by-pass valve to open up. I'd get the honda PCX filter if that's not what you're using.
