I saw your comments and I agree with them 100%. They should not have been removed. I was going to join that GB, but I have some concerns on where the cams are made (China?) and the durability of the steel used in their construction. It may turn out my concerns are unwarrented, but I'll take a wait and see attitude.

So that people don't think I'm an ass...it wasn't me and I had nothing to do with it. I almost agree with him but hey, I wouldn't be offering a GB discount if they weren't the first to buy

Those were also among my concerns. I don't want to see motors grenading like they did from the original Toda specAs.

I'd like to see 15-30K miles on these or any other new camshaft coming out.
Preferably camshaft would be made from a blanks, it would be worth the additional initial cost.

I've been real busy with work lately. Any free time is used to putting my car back together - so I haven't really had the opportunity to take a look at the camshaft thread.

Sounds like something I'd enjoy reading.

- I love how right when you think things are golden, everything goes sour. Towed car to a friends place on Thursday night to have my exhaust welded. Yesterday I get a call saying their is an oil leak under the car, huge.

After work I rush over there to see that there is no such thing as blue oil, it's a coolant leak. So we route the problem back to the water line on the backside of the turbo, in between the turbo and block. The entire turbo kit has to come back off the car to replace it. I have 33 hours before my car has to be at my tuners shop...

Yeah - that could have made things pretty sour.

My friend just got over there, hopefully he can get things fixed. I have to work today, 12-7 EST and then tomorrow 12-6. By 730 my car has to be at tuners shop, which is about 45 minutes from where the car is currently at.

Well - turns out that I got extremely lucky!

After being at my friends house last night from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am yanking a lot of things apart, the car was fixed today. A good friend of mine came over & was able to get to the fitting without removing the remaining bit of the turbo. They put everything back together and say it should be fine.
