IMO, if someone is going to build a high boost turbo engine, build it like a turbo engine! That means low compression pistons.

None of this band-aid crap of a 3mm head gasket or meth. My guess is that there's probably a reason OEMs don't design engines with 3mm thick head gaskets. Not to mention, changing out to a thicker head gasket alters the cam timing a bit.

As for meth, yes, its like cheap race gas. But it can fail. And failure leads to a blown engine.

I've been modding cars for about a decade now, and I see it all the time. Instead of spending the money up front to do it right, people decide to cheap out and end up spending double down the road.

I didn't use meth to band-aid my setup, it was used to get the most power out of the motor without running race gas.

I consider meth a band-aid to running race gas.

So the two options are:
1. run race gas
2. run pump with meth

Option #2 has an extra failure mode that option #1 does not have and therefore more likely to fail.
