Default Fuel Damper Screw Loose

My car started dying intermittently not too long ago. I thought it was a tune issue since I recently had the motor rebuilt (oem specs), so I got it re-tuned. The problem remained, so I've been trying to diagnose it for the past week.

Today I discovered that the screw on the Fuel Damper on the rail was very loose. Is this supposed to be like this? I tightened it up and it seems to have stopped the car from dying, but now the car is running super rich. I'm guessing I'll need another tune as it was last tuned with the screw loose.

Let me know if you have any input on this fuel dampener. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Which screw did you turn pictures Would help for this. Chances are you changed the base pressure and will need to readjust back to the original base pressure. I doubt u even know What your base pressure was before though. Do you have a gauge to show fuel pressure?

Was expecting the adjustable regulator but thats the stock one. Not sure what effect would be of that screw loose. What is your base pressure at now?

The dampener doesn't regulate fuel pressure. It's on the feed side.
