I have to agree to this. Stiff bonds makes for less likely backing bolts.

I haven't used a gasket there. Most of what I have read is that they will just burn up.

Anyone that knows anything about this is that " 2 perfectly flush surfaces will not need a gasket between them if torqued properly"
