Gauge choices for Supercharger advice
So, my supercharger will probably be put on next week when I’m at the race in Austin. (SOS with Novi 1220, and AEM V2 ECU. Probably run around 10-12 lbs)
I’m gonna replace my current two single AEM AFR and oil pressure gauges with two dual gauges. I don't like the AEM gauges so I'll be selling them. Don't know the new brand yet, (looking at Aeroforce, Spa and PLX), but I figure one will have oil pressure and oil temp.
The other dual gauge though I’m thinking of AFR, Boost or perhaps Inlet Air Temp.
AFR doesn’t seem real useful except I can set a flashing alarm if under WOT it goes lean. Other than that it just bounces around constantly
Boost will always be the same except perhaps if the belt starts to slip, is that correct?
Will Inlet Air Temp tell me if I experience heat soak at the track?
What do you think? Any other choices?

I highly recommend the newish AEM failsafe gauge to be one of them.

Im running boost and AFR with AEM V2 ECU. Boost is definitely fixed and I can see why its not necessary with a SC, but a boost gauge is definitely an easy way to see if you have a leak somewhere or the blower is not operating right.
For me, an AFR gauge is a must just so you can monitor everything bt if you trust your tune and tuner that you could do without it.
I would run an oil temp gauge too

Boost gauge is very helpful as a watch item in the event you get belt slip or a boost leak (e.g. coupler). Without this you dont have positive feedback that you're operating at peak.
Coolant temp is important as well. Not just a dial gauge but a measured value.
IAT will tell you of heat soak, but I find this gauge to be of least importance.
