S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is this going to run ok?

Just wondering if the piston to bore is a bit too much for this to run boost.I may need to put bigger pistons in.

Looks like a Subaru...

Without PTW measurements, it's all just a guess as to how long it will last and how noisy will be.

The piston to wall clearance are pretty tight on this engine, much tighter then what I see there. Looks like the bore could be ovalized which is not uncommon on these high revving motors, and appears to have been burning some significant amount of oil based on the looks of that piston top. I'm not that encouraged based on the visual so far. But what was the compression and leak down results before you cracked the motor open? That's going to give you a more complete and accurate picture.

That's not surprising based on how it looks.

This is actually an engine Kings performance sent out as an as new rebuild. When i mentioned it sounded like i had piston slap Fernando suggested it was because id left the engine standing too long and the foggy weather we always get over here in the UK had caused accessive wear. When that didnt work he blamed my tuner

I hate this industry sometimes. I've been burned by both engine builders and tuners in the past. Enough room for some deniability, so no one takes responsibility and the customer always seems to get shafted.

I feel you. I had my cylinder head rebuilt by a builder located in SOCAL. I’m not going to say he name of the shop, but it starts with an L. My head with Supertech valvetrain was installed with the wrong valve spring keepers and there was an issue with the seats and a few valves. A local shop looked at the work and corrected the issue after consulting with Supertech. I feel like it’s definitely a gamble.
