got on a mustang dyno today
talked to performance motorsports today, their dyno computer isnt networked so he cant send me the graph through email, he said i could go there with a flash drive and rip it, but its like 40 mins away, f that. then i said, dont u have a flash drive in your million dollar shop. nope

i think it has something to do with my speed based map also, bc when he did a 4th gear pull the car made like 440 and i was like wtf, then he did a 5th gear pull and i got the 474

thats odd, usually 4th gear gives the best results since its closest to a 1:1 ratio. You should put it on a dynojet to see what it puts down.
starting in 4th is a good idea since it'll be a long enough pull to get good logs and see what's going on. last time camuman went on a dynojet it was slipping in 4th so the car was tuned in 5th. that didn't throw off the numbers, you overlay the 4th gear run and the 5th gear run and they were the same until the wheel spin.
FYI on a dyno dynamics if there is additional correction added in addition to the environmental correction then you will see "Extra" at the top of the dyno graph.
However that does not prevent the user from manipulating the environmental numbers to change the correction factor.
Despite dyno to dyno comparisons.
All things being equal between runs on the same dyno with the same corrections one should be looking at the % differences.
