Hmmm appears there could be a lot of messing about with this piggyback.

I was hoping to tune it myself with help from my friend.

Thanks for the feedback.

Guys,

What is the max psi I can run with the stock map sensor and emanage? and also max cc injectors?

Would 550 or 650 be fine?

Has anyone relocated there stock iat sensor elsewhere?

Cheers

10.8 psi is the max the stock map can handle if I remember correctly. You can always go with bigger injectors to begin with, but 550's should be fine. I run them on my car and have no fueling issues whatsoever.

^ This is correct, but don't let the stock MAP sensor prevent you from going above 10 psi (there are other reasons, like say, your differential). You can get a Greddy MAP sensor (3-bar) for the Emanage or a drop-in replacement 3-bar from Science of Speed.

yo can go over 10psi with the emanage it lets you set fuel over rpm,
so you can get away with the stock sensor reading 10.8psi even if you are running over that.
example
you can set the emanage to add x amount of fuel at x rpm
rpm/map reading/actual boost/injector amount
@7k/10.8psi/10psi/70%
@8k/10.8psi/12psi/80%
@9k/10.8psi/14psi/90%

run this setup 3.0pulley/670cc or bigger injectors/and your choice of ecu .do not waste your time or money buying other pulleys or smaller injectors.get a wideband while you are at it

Definitely get a wideband, but I wouldn't do what he is suggesting because you are basically running the ECU blind if you don't upgrade the MAP sensor. I wouldn't trust that set-up as far as I could throw it.

I have a wideband already, i read the MAP sensor will lose its level or accuracy over 6psi.

I was thinking of going with a 3.6 pulley/or 3.2 pulley and 550rc injectors?

UrbanDK is your setup running yet?

thanks

Irv - I am up and running at 5 psi (AP1 pulley on AP2). The only thing the Emanage is doing right now though is clamping the MAP voltage to 2.9 volts, tweaking the fueling, VTEC down to 4k, and timing advance 4-6k to complement the new VTEC point.

And I have heard the stock MAP is pretty rough. On my datalogs, it is accurate but a lot of erratic up and down oscillation around the correct PSI.

Get a Greddy Pressure Sensor; much more accurate.
