your set% is most likely not 23% otherwise you'd be boosting higher. To find out what your set% is, just turn the knob one click and a number will flash.

our kit was made to run w/ an 80mm single. Your system is most likely close to stock peformance wise. The outlets are VERY small. If you were running 6 psi w/ that exhaust that means it was restricting the flow.
Ok... so I got the numbers.

My gain is 23% and my set is 7psi

I'm hoping that a high flow cat will relieve some of the restriction for the time being since i'm not getting much interest in trading my mugen.

tp-ap1, sorry

I like it a lot. Its probably as big as a 3.5" floppy drive. Its very user friendly but the instructions could use an update. IIRC, the set gain in the manual is in percent while on my unit, it was in PSI.

The only gripe is that there's really no where to put the boost controller without it looking out of place. However, I think I found a possible place to mold it into. Expect a writeup on that shortly

That is why I am going with a Gauge type boost controller. I will most likely go with the AEM Tru-boost but Turbosmart makes one as well.

You have it mistaken, but i'm pretty sure i know what you are talking about, and yes, its confusing. The manual and boost controller do not match when it comes to set gain/start boost. These are actually the same thing, just labeled differently. Otherwise, everything else should be correct.

Do I need any cooling mods like low-temp thermostat, fan switch and Hi-pressure rad cap for this kit if I only drive on the street?
Nope. Mine has only kicked on the second radiator fan once, while sitting in traffic, but it was off fairly soon. Otherwise i haven't seen any excess heat issues.

Excellent write up, I'm gonna start abstaining from sex (it costs too much) and use the $$ for S2K TurboSex instead!

Can't find pricing on GT Motoring website. You said you got it for just under $4k - Does one have to call them by phone to order it?

Do you ever go to meets here in SoCal?
I'd love to check out the turbo
You can PM or email me directly on purchasing the kit. we are using a brand new cart system on the site so items are being added daily currently.
