He just said that the dyno reads lower than other dynos. I bet he could og hit a dynpack and dyno 350 whp.

you would have to change the spring on the wastegate to lower the psi! Not sure what greddy (chris) provides for that!
yes on internally gated turbos, you can't go lower than the spring pressure in the actuator. So you'd have to get a lower rated actuator to go lower than base boost.

that probably means the run was done in 4th gear.
Most dyno's that I know of, will run you in 3rd gear unless you have 4.44, 4.56 etc..then it's 4th.

I think my dyno is fine. Correct me if I'm wrong but its not right to compare Turbos and SC as a function of boost pressure and netted power. Compared with other manfolds, turbos, and downpipes on the market the greddy turbo looks to be one of the most restrictive... especially with the tiny wastegate port and turbine wheel. With that said my setup probably requires more boost in order to get the power I have on my plots.

I am trying to fix this tho. I added a TP which freed up a lot of the restriction and the next step after a few months (want to get a clutch/flywheel/pressure plate first) probably go with a 3" or 70mm exhaust.

I think you need to get back on the dyno.

does not look correct that with your boost creeping up to 9 lbs you are only setting at 300whp (according to your simulated dynapack graph)

Supercharged I am hitting 316.7 whp (8K) at only 6.5/5.7 psi pre/post vtec on a (Dyno dynamics)

however my A/F are 11.8 at redline and my EGT's are 100C lower then stock.

For comparison, I hit 299 WHP on a Mustang dyno and 331WHP (same setup) on dynojet. Thats at 10 psi at redline. Can't wait 'til the local magical dynapack has some open time

I heard that you could do something with the wastegate on the greddy kit, placing a larger wastegate-valve ( or how do you call that round thingie that opens up? ) and make the wastegate hole slightly bigger..

but im my opinion this should give more stable boost? not increasing boost?

Can anyone chime in on this one? i've read about this wastegate-mod on the greddy turbokit in a older topic, can't find it anymore

Are you sure? I had a friend of mine who testing his REVO reflash on his A3 2.0T and did runs on both a dynolog and mustang dyno. His peak HP were about 13% lower on the dynolog than on the mustang.

I've never heard of dynolog. I'm sure about the mustang and dynojet numbers I got though. Anyways dyno numbers vary. I did lots of searching also, generally:
Mustang
Dynojet = add 10% of the Mustang #
Dynapack = add 5% of the Dynojet #

example: Mustang = 300
then Dynojet = 330
and Dynapack = 346.5

Ok now I'm running from my PC to avoid the oncomng flames...

/w turbo, your exhaust system becomes pretty important. A single 3 inch would make a big difference, but it depends on how loud you want to be. My 3 inch gives me a gain of 20whp(+/- 1 or 2whp). Is your car a daily driver aswell? Clutch/PP would be good, but you might not want to doing anything with your Flywheel. Or if you do, just don't go too light. However, grats on the turbo!

what were you using before the 3"? i want to move down to a 70mm from my 80mm b/c of noise level, and always wondering how much difference it would make in power.
