Just finished the Greddy Kit tonight and it is GREAT!!!! The kit was a smooth install and runs great. The question of the evening is about the emanage. It's plug and play which is easy enough (you would think), i plugged the available e-manage harnesses into the ecu but there is a small extra harness that does not key up. I noticed Kix does not have this "extra harness" however mine is an AP1. Couldn't find any info, so i didn't plug it in and everything works great. But for peace of mind i would like to know what the deal is. Also there are a few extra wires throughout the piggyback that i don't know what to do with. I read that they are for guages and stuff but don't know, and since there are no wiring diagrams included, i'm not sure. Again, it works great just wondering if anyone has had this issue or knows what to do. Thanks again for all the input.
Sorry I can't help, but how is the power? is it a completely different car or what?

Another question...

The consensus seems to be that a BOV is beneficial to this turbo setup. My question is, is it necessary right away, or can I safely drive around without one until the time of my tuning session?
yes you can safely drive one without a BOV until your tune

Just installed the Greddy turbo kit late last week and finally got it tuned on wednesday.

Mods are 70mm test pipe, ASM 70mm single titanium exhaust, 70mm Spoon throttle body, AEM EMS, & Greddy Turbo Kit.

Here's my numbers:

Overall I'm very please with the bolt on turbo kit. It's a very sensative kit to install and everything needs to fit just right.

I can easily get another 30-40 hp if I swap out to a custom 3" exhaust, but I like my asm, especially because it's quiet. All I hear is the turbo spool when I'm driving. No drone or exhaust noise, it's amazing!

Thanks again Chris Lum for helping me install my turbo kit!

btw...my car is an AP1.

Sweet I'm going to have Church tune mine when I get it together. Do you really think 30-40 more HP is obtainable from getting a bigger exhaust? I was planning on doing the 70mm setup but now you've got me worried.

to be honest with you, it all depends on personal preference. I really don't mind not having an additional 30hp, i'm not looking to race anyone.

Overall the car is super quiet! that's why i'm sticking with my exhaust. it keeps the cops away.
