A T3 or T4 turbo is a Garett style turbo. They use a certain style Flange. You have a T3 turbo, T4 Turbo and a T3/T4 hybrid turbo. The T3/T4 hybrid uses a T3 Flange with different combinations of exhaust and compressor wheels from T4's. Mitsubishi has I believe 14G, 16G, 18G and a 20G. Different manufacturers of these Mitsubishi style turbos have different names just like the different manufacturers of the Garett Style turbos. For instance a TD06-whatever is a Mitsu. A majority of Mitsubishi style turbos are Internally wastegated. And a majority of Garetts are externally wastegated. Now both manufactured types produce both style waste gated turbos.

So when you run a boost controller you connect it to the actuator?

Yeah. in between vaccum source and the wastegate. The boost controller will not allow you to turn down the boost below what the wastegate is set at (I believe 7psi) but will alway you to turn up boost.

I'm finally done with the "initial install". I got to take it out for a few minutes. No leaks that I can tell of. The manifold/turbo area was smoking quite a bit and stinks! However I'm pretty sure this is normal. But when first starting the car it bogs a little and then dies. I have to give it a little gas before it is idling properly. I plan on getting it tuned in 3 weeks.

Well idling should not be affected by the E-manage.. Did you turn the key on and let it sit for a few seconds before hitting the start button? It have an effect on starting and idling, remember you swapped out your fuel pump and injectors...
