hopefully this question has'nt been beaten to death but this kit is sold as a have everything in it kit. So its running out of the box. Now if i did want to boost it at lets say the 10psi what else would i need to run it safely? with or without the bump to 10psi i will get it tuned. Just curious if i need any other items like a blow off valve?

u need a bov and a tune. 10psi is a bit risky on stock internals and stock hg. i think that is the limit for stock hg.

well stock boost is like 5-6 psi? so what would be a safer psi to run it at? didn't that magazine say it was running 10psi alright? And yeah im getting a tune no matter what. Anyone know a good blow off valve?

how about a greddy blow off valve? hahaha.. i personally like the type S.....but discontinued.

i decided to just finish my GSX. the 2.3 stroker is being dropped in a month. tuned at 21 PSI on 93 octane should be pret-ty nice. But until Greddy makes the kit and its complete and ALL the bugs are out. Then i'm going to Wait. Then if then, i'm going to go ahead and maybe sell the GSX and just purchase the Turbo kit for the S2000.

eMpower Motorsports is not a Authorized Dealer based on Greddy website. Buyer beware.

With a kit like this being so new I would not buy except from a certified dealer.
True, but they're an authorized reseller (as opposed to dealer) and a sponsor of the "other" site.

But regardless of where you get the kit from, I'm really excited about the recent official release for AP2s. Just waiting for the kit to arrive now

I would say 10psi is cutting it close. Any more would require at least a new hg.

As for BOVs, I recommend GReddy or HKS.

Still holding my breath for the DBW '06+ kit to come out.
Is it really that hard to get an engine management to work on DBWs?
God, please let us have the kit out by this winter.

Dan
There already is a Greddy Kit for the 06+ S2K. I think it's the same kit as for the 04-05 models but since it uses the Greddy E-Manage Ult, it is capable of being tuned.

I just don't see it for sale anywhere... no idea why considering they already went public with it in a magazine.

So if you were to buy this kit and want to have a bov, do you have to weld to stock piping, or can you get a piping w/ BOV hinge to it?
