No, this is incorrect. Please please please do not spread misinformation like that.

To clear up any confusion. The only greddy kit ive tuned to 15psi is a client in UK. its been running for a long time on 14-15 psi, which in reality, it drops to 10 psi at redline because the turbo is completely maxed.

it made 335 whp. and still running strong.

Further, No s2000 Ive ever tuned has popped a HG.

Regards,
Mase
nice work!

Is the Greddy kit upgradeable? Since the stock bottom ends are not built I know we are limited by how much boost that can be run. I take it that's why other kits with larger turbos is more desirable since they typically make more power at equivalent boost levels.

Also curious where you guys got your kits? I'm in the market for one very soon (thanks to my tax refund) and want to get the best price possible!

The kit itself can be upgraded with a larger turbo and meth injection. The kit is a good starter kit as is and is best upgraded with an 70mm single or dual exhaust hfc 9-10 psi and a good tune. This should yeild you around 275 to 300hp. It has great instructions and comes with everything you need to install it. It provides good down low TQ better than almost any other kit and your car should be able to handle the power with no problem. A clutch may also be needed over time.

I hope this helps.

That does, thanks! Has anybody upgraded the turbo on here and has documented it in a thread?

It's a good kit and most importantly it's CARB legal, a must if you live in Socal. Got smogged a couple weeks ago and was no big deal. Got a great deal on the kit from vividracing.com with last year's tax return.
