Well i think in that case your screwed either way... but for california emmission they need the sticker or the paper and the sniffer to say its good before you really are.. now if a cop pulls you over wants to be a d!ck cause you were doing 100 in a school zone then i mean... your just screwed.. lol

See with that whole 50 state legal stuff.....its how you look at it.....I can get a 50 state legal exhaust and put it on.......get pulled over.....tell the cop its 50 state legal, and him/her telling me *since this is in the regulations* that ANY ALTERING will be ILLEGAL. so even if i put a 50 state legal anything......does it mean i wont get a ticket? or get in trouble?

Personally.....I say get it. and as long as you pass emmissions....OR live in an area where emmissions doesnt matter. Then your good!
I don't care what the cops think about it. It is the Smog requirements from the state of California

In my area, they check to make sure that forced induction cars are either built this way from the factory or if they have a C.A.R.B. exemption. Even if it passes the sniffer test, this kit won't pass the visual until it gets the approval from the state board.

And I am sure as hell not going to install and un-install this kit once a year for smoging

well in virginia, you have to get emmissions once every year or every two years.....your choice. But as for us...or me.......if you know mechanics and they can care less WHAT you have under the hood, if you can pass emmissions with the sniffer......they'll pass ya.

California i heard has VERY strict laws and that sucks!

subscribing. I'm dying waiting for the news on the 06/07 DBW kits. Winter finally started to hit here in MN and I need something to work on any news? How are the kits holding up for everyone?
