Your map sensor is mounted atop your throttle body (may be relocated by the Greddy Kit). Map Wack is were you wack it with a screw driver handle.

What does that accomplish?

Mine is relocated via the greddy kit... why would I whack it?

Because the diapgram inside it can get stuck since it is not really designed to see boost. The wack will free it up.

Since the emanage adds x% fuel to what ever the ECM is adding you will find a fairly large difference with varied temperatures. My car goes open loop 13.1 AFR when it is 60F, but goes open loop 10.4 AFR when it is 110F.

If your tune was adding a percentage of fuel that pulled it from 13:1 to 11:1 when it was 60F out - you are looking at an 18% increase in fuel. If your ECM is trying to add 10.4:1 worth of fuel at 100-110F - you are still adding 18% more fuel from the eManage bringing it to well below the 9:1 AFR range.

The fix would be to use the IAT compensation map. I have played with my IAT Map to try to keep it in the 11.8range when cooler and in the 10.5 range when it is hotter out.
Thanks for the reply. Car wqas horrible yesterday. I went home, unplugged the E manage and re plugged it back in and did another map whack (actually I would call it a map "beat down". Car ran fine this morning and again at lunch..

Yesterday it was freaking out anytime it saw ANY positive pressure and threw the check light.

Im on my way right now to go and see if I can get the codes pulled as I didnt reset my ECU yet. Ill let you all know what the codes were.

Now I see why people like stand alone systems like the EMS.

It all depends on how big your hands are. Everything is external, but it's very tight in that spot. You may just nee to remove some components.
