Greddy Turbo Questions thread....
Pull the code. If it sees something suspect, some codes get stored and then the second one throws it. It may be the "too rich" code. I dip below 10's all the time, never thought anything of it, although it is stupid rich. Not sure about the led. Usually it should slowly rise and fall to show an rpm signal. The manual shows what each flash type means.
Read that the pulsing on the light is it verifying RPM.
Drove the car to lunch and was fine to the drive thru. Then on my way back any time I went into boost the car just bogged and the AFR's went to ten (most rich display on the AEM wideband) and it just dumps on its face..
Something is definitely wrong and I need to figure it out ASAP.

gotta get tuned man!
Something is wrong electronically with the car IMO. Did a map whack, and checked the plug and reset the ECU at lunch so lets see how she drives on the way home today.

Is it hotter than usual there? It's stupid hot here, and my car is running extra crappy.
The car ran fine on the way home. All I did at lunch was reset the ECU, map whack and unplug/plug back in the map wire and re zip tied it. Also whacked that big cad plate gold sensor at the rear of the intake. LOL
This is starting to frustrate me though. Wonder if my map sensor is going out or something since the problems are only at first in VTEC an then it worsens to all boost conditions.
Hey everyone! long time no see...
Mine is still running.... and I don't think anything is wrong with it, but I have no idea...
My temp gauges (OEM dashboard) still dosent work.
It still ocasionally gets mad at me spits hisses and pops (Engine), probably misfiring and backfiring... maybe a problem with my timing...
I think imma go get it re tuned and use soemone I trust... only problem, I live in South Alabama, and I have NO idea how to find a good tuner...
Also, what is a Map whack?

Once it did it due to weather change but this time that was not the cause. It was sixties on the way to work and then in the eighties during lunch so no it wasnt stupid hot. In the morning it was freaking in VTEC (super rich and bogged to death) then at lunch it was horrible and just dumped fuel into the motor for a "mega bog" at any boost it saw.

If your tune was adding a percentage of fuel that pulled it from 13:1 to 11:1 when it was 60F out - you are looking at an 18% increase in fuel. If your ECM is trying to add 10.4:1 worth of fuel at 100-110F - you are still adding 18% more fuel from the eManage bringing it to well below the 9:1 AFR range.
The fix would be to use the IAT compensation map. I have played with my IAT Map to try to keep it in the 11.8range when cooler and in the 10.5 range when it is hotter out.

anyone?
