Where did you guys buy your AEM UEGO's and TruBoosts?

Does the TruBoost work not only as a boost gauge, but as a boost controller too?

i've only heard of one person posting up about tracking it so far...he had some problems, among them, overheating, but i believe he admitted he was ill-prepared. He had the cracked manifold at that time, no gauges, no cooling mods, etc. Im not sure if it was tuned either.

Other than that, most s2k people just don't like to track while turbo, due to the extreme heat generated by turbos.
This is all true, but I plan on tracking again this year after I make a few cooling modifications. The car was tuned, but the shop that did it had no clue and my power curve was truly awful. They just didn't seem to care about the quality of their work, but being a turbo and tuning noob I had no frame of reference. I do now, and my car has been running like a champ ever since I had it retuned last November.

I'm sure I'll post about any mods I do to make my track time this year more fun than last year.

who tuned your car before (the poor tuner), and who retuned it properly?

Researched it a bit, and found out that it IS a boost controller too... nice.

NOW, I need to know, what is the average price you guys paid for these 2 gauges? Where did you get them? What size are they? and what A pillar gauge pod did you guys get of SoS?

Original install and tune was done by RTTuning in Lansdale, PA on a dynojet and the reinstall(yes they put it back together for me free of charge) and retuning was done by PTuning in Manassas Va on a dyno dynamics.

what exhaust do you recommend with this kit that will make decent power and not be too loud. I was looking at some singles but not sure where to go at this point. Also I know some of you are looking at gauges too, are defi gauges good enough, boost and egt, or you think the aem ones would be better.

by the way this is what i thinking of as the setup,
greddy kit
stage 2 clutch kit from 2nrwerks
possibly inline pro 3" exhaust and berk test pipe
defi gauges- boost and egt.

Nevermind, ordered the AEM UEGO. I guess I can live without oil pressure for the time being.

Got my kit yesterday. The wait is killing me, as the car is going to get a new clutch this Thursday, and only the week after will I be able to begin the install. The suspense is killing me. Looking at a pile of fresh smelling parts, and I can't do a damn thing about em. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

Oh.....so, since I got the UEGO....I need to know WTF I'm looking at....

So, like the oil pressure question.....

Whats the.....

1)Its all good AFR
2)Better Back off!
3)Flames shooting at passers by
4)Hey mom look, my motor blew up!

Still frustrated as to what spark plugs I need to buy...

One member says his car runs great with iridiums, others say our car hates iridium, some say copper, some say platinum, etc. The only thing I know is this....

1)I am not paying $20 a spark plug. Learned that lesson from my friend with the turbo RSX.
2)I don't want to have to gap them myself.

Is there a plug that's one step colder I can plug in and have my car run correctly?

And one more thing, where is the best place to put the UEGO bung? Test pipe, downpipe, etc? I figured test pipe is the best place, since if something happens, it's cheaper to replace than a downpipe.
