Correct. I tried it with inline 3mm, 750RC, TP, Veilside TI, Hondata Kpro and Mase doing the tuning here in the UK.

After 14 psi the power just fell on its face.Started of good under early boost but then dropped of very quickly. Was making far better numbers and driveabilty without the HG. Didnt even bother getting a dyno sheet because was kinda pissed at the situation but Mase will vouch for the outcome. He's back in the UK in a couple of weeks so since he last left have taken the 3mm HG out and we sent the turbo for inspection to make sure it was okay because had been beating some higher psi numbers on it for a while. Company here said they could fit 20G internals in it so thats what we did.

Its all being put back together now awaiting mapping. Will post the dyno up. May seem like a lot of work to you guys but here in the UK we are very limited for manifolds and turbo size due to our steering rack position. Just trying to make the best of what i got
Well there goes my plans for a 3 mm headgasket. Sucks man. Sorry to here that. I'm glad you posted about it though.

would anyone (Chris?) know if an upgraded aluminum radiator is necessary with this kit?

Can anyone post a picture of the wastegate hole and flapper door? Wondering if there is enough room in there to port the gate and weld a larger diameter flapper to cure all these creep issues.

I was going to ask the same thing. I remember a lot of guys with STi that were running catless/bell mouth downpipes had bad creep issues, so they would port the wastegate and whala problem solved.

Hey Aqua, im going in for tuning tomorrow morning. What should I look out for, and what should I do to prepare.

I have a 63mm Test pipe. I'm thinking about putting it on, so i'll have Turbo > Greddy 60mm Down pipe > 60mm Invidia Test Pipe > 63mm Stock Exhaust

I have the truBoost as well and I want to run 10psi as well.
you should be fine with TP and stock exhaust, but I would get a boost controller.

I ran HKS exhaust with same size TP with my greddy profec II and was able to keep constant 7.5 psi on low boost and constant 10psi on high.

i want to run full 80mm. i do have a berk 63/60?mm test pipe as well though...i may just bring both test pipes and my stock cat to tuner. itll be very irritating to be forced to run stock cat on a FI setup with 80mm exhaust because the kit has a bad flaw and spikes

Edit: i am an FI newb to please humor me. AEM Tru boost cant help control the creep/spike issues at all? What else can be done besides just running stock cat?

it's not necessarily a flaw, it's just how its designed.. it's the nature of the internally wastegated turbo that spools rather early

once again im new to FI. can u somehow make it externally waste gated?

i could be wrong but i feel that even if i was only running 8 lbs on a full 80mm after DP it would net more HP/tq because more free flowing than say running 10lbs with a stock cat. Am i thinking wrong? i also think it would be better for the engine even if marginal
