Right, but thats bad for the car... so I've heard. anything above 10 on this kit isn't safe.

What would make it safe? I've been reading about a "3mm Headgasket" ... any more info on that?

if you went 3mm headgasket you would have to boost at least 14-15 psi to make up for the loss. And yes, everyone agrees 10psi on stock headgasket is the most psi you should boost.

Side note, 300 whp can be achieved at 10psi you do not need to creep to 12 to do so.

peak boost of 7.5 here, going down to 5.5-6.0 by redline and hit 300whp on dynpack

my plan is 10psi, but i have a boost controller.

I want to push a button, get 10psi for my "spirited fun" and then push another button and go back to 7.5psi ish for just driving to work and back, etc...

Water/methanol injection would help. KART did some pretty trick stuff on his setup to get that 330 WHP.

take it up to like 7500 RPM and see what kind of boost you hit. You shouldn't be at 9PSI at 5000 RPM. Let me know.

lowers the compression from stock, so that you can add more boost safely.
