Yeah, unless you live in a very warm area 80mm TP may be too big. But give it a try worst case just put the cat back on.

with 80mm exhaust and test pipe i can guarantee you'll be very high
I have a 70mm TP and 3" exhaust and hit 12 psi near redline. If I could do it all over again I should have left my Cat in while getting it tuned and increased the boost to 10 psi with the Tru-Boost.

IMHO I wouldn't run the 80mm TP with the 80mm single. You'll probably spike higher than mine and the tuner might have to make it run rich like mine did which isn't fun.

Hey Aqua, im going in for tuning tomorrow morning. What should I look out for, and what should I do to prepare.

I have a 63mm Test pipe. I'm thinking about putting it on, so i'll have Turbo > Greddy 60mm Down pipe > 60mm Invidia Test Pipe > 63mm Stock Exhaust

I have the truBoost as well and I want to run 10psi as well.

If you run the stock exhaust you can probably run the 63 mm test pipe. But have them both with you just in case.

what PSI are you hitting with the stock exhaust? I would put your TP in and see what kind of boost you hit in the higher RPM range. My boost didn't start creeping till about 7k on up. So you'll have to rev it pretty high to make sure your not going to creep past your 10 psi goal. Just in case bring your cat with you to your tunning session.

sorry i didn't see that you had a ap1.. it seems for equal CFM, 7.5 psi on ap2 tranlsates to 9psi on ap1

From what I've been told, at 12psi this turbo is inefficient,
Correct. I tried it with inline 3mm, 750RC, TP, Veilside TI, Hondata Kpro and Mase doing the tuning here in the UK.

After 14 psi the power just fell on its face.Started of good under early boost but then dropped of very quickly. Was making far better numbers and driveabilty without the HG. Didnt even bother getting a dyno sheet because was kinda pissed at the situation but Mase will vouch for the outcome. He's back in the UK in a couple of weeks so since he last left have taken the 3mm HG out and we sent the turbo for inspection to make sure it was okay because had been beating some higher psi numbers on it for a while. Company here said they could fit 20G internals in it so thats what we did.

Its all being put back together now awaiting mapping. Will post the dyno up. May seem like a lot of work to you guys but here in the UK we are very limited for manifolds and turbo size due to our steering rack position. Just trying to make the best of what i got

is anybody planning on running the Greddy e-01?
I think I am the only greddy turbo owner on this board who uses the e-01 as a boost gauge and electronic boost controller. Works great. Biggest problem is mounting the ginormous display. I just stuck it to the dash above and to the right of the radio door.

In 1st gear if I get on it very hard it spikes slightly over 10PSI, for just a second, but buy the time I am above, 6000RPMS it falls down to like 9, this is not dangerous is it, that is spikes slightly above 10PSI for a second or two? At redline it is at a steady 9ish
