let me know how that works for you. I'm planning a very very similar set up...

only difference would be my 63mm invidia TP instead...

My tuner dropped the one in the Emanage, and we had a copy of the basemap from greddy. He used that and tweaked it... I make power all the way up to 8,100 (Redline)... VTEC starts at 5,400.

i'm sure most people are just using a tweaked version of the basemap. It would be stupid for a tuner to start from scratch, not to mention, that would cost the customer big $$$$$, as it would NOT be only a matter of a few hours.

it's only stupid if the tuner doesn't know what's he doing and needs a base map to work off of

my tuner started from scratch, and did not charge me extra and he spent a few days tuning, i.e. letting the long term fuel trims set

thats good that he didn't charge you extra for starting from scratch. I would be annoyed if a tuner charged me extra to add in numbers in a table that were already there in the first place!

The basemap is a great place to start. No shame in using a basemap to start tuning from. You have no problem with tuning from scratch since your tuner didn't charge you for each hour. You'd probably feel differently if he had decided to charge you for the time that he actually spent on the car tuning.

so, is anyone getting CREEP issues with a High Flow Cat or 60mm test Pipe? If not I want to throw one on and maybe get my tuning tweaked by Giles in MAY
