Indeed! It actually did great!

The course isnt long, and its usually broken up into heats.

So i'm not really running it very hard, and its not for long at all.

On a side note! I have a question.

Anyone running an intercooler sprayer? Would it benefit this kit especially living in a very hot area (South Alabama)? Where would someone such as myself find an intercooler sprayer?

If anything it would make more sense to run alchy injection...I used to run it on my sti. I'm am really sold. 50/50 mix of denatured alchy and h20...tap the intocooler pipe about 6 inches from the throttle body....just need to find a kit for this car that will fit the pump under the hood.....

Is that like Methanol injection?

Im n00b to this kind of stuff.

That would require a retune correct?

Yes, we can take a look at the jumper settings so please feel free to forward them. As far as vtec engaging, I will have to ask if it actually is kicking in I think it is, I am game for anything at this point. It something we can at least check off the list. It seems as if my vtec dip is more like a vtec cliff. It seems electrical related though.

Thanks
Did you ever figure out the problem with your car? I think I may have the same problem as you two have/had. I find myself shifting constantly at 6K because it is just horrible past that. On the FWY yesterday in 4th I tried a pull and it was just pathetic. I'm pretty sure I heard VTEC engage, but it just has zero power and struggles to gain RPM.

As soon as I get my testpipe or highflow cat I'm going to the tuner to hopefully have things checked out and fixed.

yes would require a retune....on my subie I was able to safely run 5 psi more boost and a buttload more timing. The alchy/meth added about 50whp with the extra psi (I was running 18 psi on 93 and 23 on 93+meth) You just need to buy a good kit with electronic failsafes..

Alas I have yet to see a kit like this made for the s2k. Plus with our high compression its really unknown how much more boost you could get away with. I know a guy on here made his own kit and I think just added more timing to his greddy kit and picked up like 30whp.....

It's going to fall on it's face without a tune. My problem was that the car wasn't engaging vtec at all. You'll find the power picks back up around 8k. You should research the tp/ hfc. People have had a lot of creep issues.
