S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Has anybody else had problems with Haltech Platinum Pro?

I sent my logs from this weekend to Haltech for them to investigate. This is the reply I got from them;

I can see that the Miss counter is increasing in your log. I suspect this will be a crank or cam sensor voltage problem. You can certainly try adjusting the "Trigger voltage threshold" and "Home voltage threshold" tables in the software.
You can try setting the voltage levels both to 4v above 5000RPM, then to 6v above 5000RPM to see if either setting makes any noticeable difference.

like evans said, on the pro plug in box this isn't something that can be fixed by editing the voltage threshold tables for cam or crank. i'm running the sport 1000 box on my car. like i stated before, i'm not having the problem at high rpm but i am having the problem when cranking. i can adjust the tables all i want but it still takes several cranks before everything synchs and the engine turns on.

as far as a firmware upgrade, i am running the latest version and nothing has fixed this. like evans suggested, perhaps it is hardware issue and not a firmware or software issue.

That e mail from haltech looks identical to the one my personal tuner told me he received from haltech. They just seem to be playing dumb and claiming they haven't had the same complaints from other customers.

That's a shame to hear that you have the latest firmware installed. I was hoping that could possibly be the magic fix. Although I wasn't betting on it due to he irregularity of the problems I receive with my box. I.E it works great one day and crap the next. It definitely seems to be some kind of hardware problem. Hopefully if enough of us complain they will create a fix for us. I mean it's not exactly a cheap EMS by any means. I payed top dollar for mine thinking it would be worth the extra cash due to its reliable reputation.

It's quite frustrating to think that a company would try to pretend your issue is isolated in this day and age of connectivity.
