Still can't send :S I did find in my own messenger I somehow got more than 100 messages (115) of which all but one were classified as deleted messages. Checking the checkbox and then choosing delete selected actually duplicated the message!! I had to create a new folder, move the messages I wanted to delete from "my conversations" to that folder then click edit on the folder and choose the trashcan to "empty this folder". I can send to other users so it must be you
Good to hear, Ill be keeping my eyes on this thread. I may have mine tuned next week as well, but I need to see how my schedule works out along with funds. Being grown with bills sucks!
Same issue for me, always between 7500 and 8000 rpm. I've been working with Haltech tech support for some time now trying to figure out the issue. They've been very helpful, but no solution yet. If I figure anything out on my end, I'll be sure to let everyone know.
Pic from this weekend of the cut on the dyno while I was tuning...

Evans Tuning - when you see the cut on your dyno, do you typically lose the RPM trace due to losing the spark signal? I figure the issue is due either to the engine losing spark, losing fueling, or losing VTEC output. Now, if the ECU is missing trigger signals, you would think that all of those would probably drop out. On one of my dyno traces the spark/RPM signal was held all the way through the cut - I'm not sure if that means that spark EST output from the ECU never stopped, or that the dynojet software simply 'filled in' the missing spots. I wish I had an oscilloscope or datalogger that I could feed all of those traces into...

I've had the same issues with my Haltech at about the same RPM. It first showed up when the car was being tuned, but we thought that it could have been fouled plugs. I changed the plugs but it's happened a couple of times since. I haven't had a track day since the ECU change so there hasn't been much high RPM work of late.
Hopefully a fix soon.

Quick update. Unfortunately we weren't able to reproduce this issue on the dyno (again). We tried a couple of things at the track yesterday, and will try something different again next Thursday. No resolution so far, but I'm sure we'll get there as Haltech are being super helpful.
