I have looked more closely at my logs this morning and this misfire always occurs between 7500 and 8000rpm. Does anyone else have any datalogs of this misfire?

 

That's exactly where it happens for me as well. Although I'm not sure how I can to about logging it myself?

I have a Haltech PNP as well, but have yet to install and tune it. Hopefully, I can get that done within the next week or so and I'll be able to see if I have the same issues as you guys. My tuner loves Haltech, and he didn't mention having any issues with any he has tuned, but then again Im not sure how many were FI vs N/A. Ill be N/A for a while. But, Ill report back as soon as I get it done.

 

I don't think it should make too much difference with FI vs NA as this problem seems to be just as common with both setups. I am NA too.

 

tx2k, if your experience is anything like mine you will love the haltech at first and think everything is fine. and then one day out of the blue, problems will just start occuring. At this point I wouldnt recommend haltech to anybody.

 

Well, I sure hope I dont have any issues, but at least I wont be surprised now I suppose.

 

We are putting my car back on the dyno on Friday (7th). The techs from Haltech will be talking my tuner through how to resolve the problem and I'm confident that it will be resolved. I'll post back up here in a week to let you guys know how I went.
