Default Have VAFC, buying supercharger

As title states, I have a pretty nice N/A setup right now but I'm getting a Comptech SC with aftercooler and selling some of my old stuff. Can anyone chime in how much extra power they were able to squeeze with a VAFC tune? I do not plan to get an EMS or go above a 7 pound pulley. All the SC guys in the Atlanta club mostly have stock ECU management so I was wondering if anyone could chime in with personal experience that keeping the VAFC and tuning is worth more power or should I just sell it off.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Justin

I had a convo with another member about using the vafc to tune a aftercooled charger on 7psi. He was saying its suitable tuning for 7psi but any more you would need either e-man or ems.

Anyone want to confirm or denie this. I'm also curious about this, could more power be gain from the e-man over the vafc?

Thanks for the setup. I'm guessing it's at least worth it to keep the unit if I only plan on doing 7 pounds in the future?

Keep it and tune with it. Being able to fine tune the fuel a little is better than just relying on turning up the fuel pressure alone.

Keep it, i had mine dyno'd and i was able to lower the a/f ratio 1 whole point. Keep in mind there's a limit as to how much u can adjust fuel.. u can go as low as "-10" i believe w/out triggering a cell or affecting driveability.

^thanks for the heads up. I have it installed already though I was set to hit 230 rwhp with my N/A setup but I decided that 300 sounded a lot cooler
