Header wrap - what is your preference?
My underhood temps are becoming to get warmer and looking at either DEI titanium or the Thermotec wraps. Thermotec has been around forever, made in USA all that good stuff. DEI has had pretty good feedback but do see some folks with their heat-blankets breaking apart in a few thousand miles.
I'll be wrapping my headers only. I've used the Thermotec stuff before, just looking for experience from others. Thermotec also has a new line of a carbon fiber wrap and another one with copper. Not sure if it's a marketing gimmick, but the original Thermotec is what I'm looking to purchase - unless someone tells me otherwise.

the dei stuff is good but it all will make you itch soak it in water before you use it . this will help cut down on the itch factor and allow for easier and tighter wrapping of the header I have gold foil on my heat shield aftercooler air box and intake tube every thing you can do to get rid of heat will help. I put gurney flaps on the leading edges of my front hood vents that helped at high speed I may wrap my header this winter my coolant only gets up to 190f in 100 degree weather with the a/c on but she is a dog in this heat. I know its blasphemy but I will be trying an air to air this winter as well maybe a hybrid v mount setup so boost loss is kept in check. I need more than a 20 degree drop in air temp on hot long drives in 100 degree heat as this is where the air to water lets me down.
