Also, IAT makes a difference. I've noticed that when my IAT exceeds, say, 120F, I can only boost approx 7.68psi (with a 9psi setup).
During the winter, it would hit 9.0 exactly.
My belt also flew off (for different reasons - the bolt securing the factory idler pulley - the big m10x1.25x115 bolt - backed out due to vibration I suppose). This made the main belt loose, which then hit the s/c belt, and...

You could be losing some boost because of the intercooler.
then again, i am running higher boost then the OP. UR claims their FMIC is meant for high boost applications. (im reading 12.5-13psi)
