You sold the cage too? Got a lot of work going on with the build... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah. Hoping to have everything back together within the next few months. I sold the Hard Dog 4-pt bar (it's not legal for the track). Going with an 8-pt cage: http://www.swracecars.com/store/8-Po...083.aspxHoping to buy/install a v160 next spring.
i cant believe how cheap those cages are, kinda want one now

Yeah. Great price. Going to have the same guy that did the cage in my Civic weld it in. Shouldn't be more than ~$700 (total)

Edit: no downside other than weight (which I believe is rather marginal in the case of an 8point roll bar). I'll likely be going with the mild steel variant.

lol No. I'll keep trying once I pull them from the car. My extra knuckles arrived today. Going to take them to a shop on Monday to get the new hubs/wheel bearings pressed in.

Agreed. Which is why the chromoly bars typically have a wall thickness less than mild steel (for identical applications)

Awesome. The new manifold looks great. Time to get a turbo on the end of it!
