S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

How long did you wait before going FI?

i was thinking of the same question. but as the other member has posted before, i think i will learn to drive the car the best i can before i FI. this is my first car with 6 gears. sometimes, while redlining through gears, i screw up and go from redline or close to redline (7K) back to 4th, lets just say it isn't very pleasant. if i was boosting, i probably would have blew my motor.
I am thinking the same thing. Also I cant affod the SC/TC right now anyhow

It shortens it... anytime you add that kid of pressure to the cylinders you shorten engine life.

You gotta pay to play!

how much does it shorten it tho? Are you saying the block only lasts 200k miles instead of 400k miles or what? Assuming resonable boost (7psi)

Had the car about a year but only had about 2500 miles on it before the install so it's still almost brand new!

I came to the conclusion from experience with other cars that the longer you have the car pre-mods, the less sense it make to spend $$ on them - not enough time to enjoy them for what they cost. I drove the car a year to make sure I loved it and I honestly don't think I would bother if I didn't have at least a 2-3 year timeframe for keeping the car.

Bought it May 25th, 2006, installed August 11th, 2006. Drove 1000 miles before putting it on. Used at 42500, installed at 43500.

I did redline, and drop from 3rd to 2nd, instead 4th last week. I freaked, but luckily nothing damaged.

I waited until I could use synthetic oil (10,000 miles). it was worth the wait.
