Iv made 497rwhp @ 24psi, but that was without the water/meth injection setup. I never had a chance to fully tune/dyno my car with it. My cars been down waiting for my InlinePro block to be installed. Im hoping for sometime next week everything will be done.
On 93 octane?

Good luck with that new motor! I plan on having my bottom end built at some point, but for now I am going to take it to her limits!

thats crazy though, you needed 26psi to hit 500whp, and reborn56 needed only 16 on a FR manifold! what was your torque?

It was @ 24psi

That day there was no torque graphed.

The max torque iv graphed on a dyno is 300.01

you can absolutely run both at the same time

meth injection doesnt only help to increase octane, but it reduces intake temp charge.

One of our faster stealth guys over on 3si runs c16 and meth injection I believe.

Meth is also A LOT cheaper than race gas.

The MS 109 (109 research octane, 101 motor octane, R+M/2 = 105) should allow a couple degrees advance and the water-meth kit should also allow a couple degrees. The only way to proceed is on the dyno under the care of a master tuner like Church or Mase.

The bone stock engine will have problems above 15 psi if used for any length at all. With a 3mm headgasket you should be able to run 22 psi IMHO.

Some individuals have blown up the factory bottom end with less boost so be cautious.

The pistons have inadequate lands for the rings when using high boost. That combined with the fragile hyper eutectic pistons makes the engine failure prone.
i was under the impression that stock pistons are forged. Are they really just hyper eutectic cast? I have blown hyper pistons before at high boost...they literally explode into small pieces.

Both the OEM pistons and rods are forged. Although the rods are forged don't let that fool you--if you look at them they look like chicken bones on one end and that is the weak point. A forged h-beam is the way to go!
