BTW...Honda designed the sensor such that it reads the air temp prior to it entering the TB/IM. If you go and relocate the sensor so that it is after the TB/IM the air temp may provide the ECU with a adverse reading.

Let me know what you guys might do. I'll be looking into different options also. Did you order your fuel pump from Inline Justin? I tried installing mine today and it didn't fit. I'll be posting a thread about it pretty soon.

For some reason I thought you were going to run the AEM ems.

Hmm. I think there is a gm IAT sensor that is actually threaded. I remember a while back seeing someone use one on honda-tech. He used a fitting similar to the threaded fitting you use when you install nitrous nozzles and a GM IAT sensor. It screwed into the fitting and he didn't have any other problems with it blowing out of the charge pipe. Something you might want to look into.

Phil has an AEM EMS, I have something else. I'll have to look into that sensor you mentioned.

The upgraded fuel pump was apart of the kit from inlinePRO. I'll be interested to see the thread you post so I can see what the fitment issue(s) is(are).

Phil: I talked to inlinePRO about the IAT sensor issue and here are their recommendations/options:

1) Leave it hanging/tie up neatly somewhere.
2) Get a IAT from a previous S2k model, and use the IAT and fabricate something to weld onto the charge put, and use the screws that are used on the previous S2k's to secure it.
3) Get ahold of the older manifolds, cut out the IAT including the housing that its in, and weld that to the charge.

I am more prone to going with option 1 at this point.

Yeah #1 sounds real good with me!!! Maybe I'll do something else later when I look into more.

I talked to the shop that is doing my install. They are familiar with this issue. They are going to have a threaded bung welded on the charge pipe and apparently Honda does make a threaded IAT sensor. Not sure which model it is for but I'll let you know.

Leaving the IAT hanging outside the intake would be a bad idea, considering the IAT is a pretty important input when it comes time to tune.

I wonder why inlinePRO thought it would be ok?
