Basically I have to finished connecting all the hoses to the turbo, IC piping, exhaust, intake, IAT, fuel pump, install gauges, and put the car back together.

I want to tow it because 400 miles is alot of miles for something to break and be stuck if I can't fix it on the spot.
Again, why are you having it towed to SoCal? Tuning?

If you are running a EMS of some kind, you should just run a GM IAT sensor. It has a threaded body. you just weld a bung in your charge pipe. It will run you about $30, and you can normally get them cheaper from a GM dealer.

Yes for tuning but its not going to be for a few weeks.

So the GM IAT sensors are really General motors and all I need is the pigtails of 2 wires?

Are you having Mike do the tuning? You should have Shawn Church do the tuning. That way we could directly compare our cars.

I recently received an AEM AIT sensor. It is threaded.

Thanks for the heads up on the difference between the 00-05 and 06-up (I assume this is when the change occured). I wasn't aware of it.

I suspect I will make a fitting so I can install mine in the stock 00 location.

Do you have a part number for that sensor?

Interesting.

Phil: You might be able to use that part. I just talked to my install shop and the sensor they will use is from an Accord. I don't have a part number though...

I think I'm going to go with the GM IAT sensor. I can pick that up pretty easy and for pretty cheap out here. My work has an account with GM. Only thing will be trying to find the bung local. Does anyone know what GM vehicle that sensor comes off? Its going to be pretty vague trying to ask for an IAT sensor with 2 wires.

Hey Phil: who is making the flange on your downpipe? Yours came unfinished, right? Mine did and from what I was told that is pretty standard.
