I guess they don't think it's as important as all OEM manufacturers that use them.

I was told to get a GM Iat and have a bung welded to the charge pipe also. Where do you buy these GM parts from other then Cheverolet. <bad joke.

i had to switch out my iat for a honda obd1 iat sensor. there was a problem with the ems reading it. has anyone ever heard of this?. one of the best tuners in the country did it and said he has to do it on all the s2000's he does.

The shop that I use told me that Honda makes a threaded IAT sensor. I'll let you know what the part number is as soon as they tell me.

Basically I have to finished connecting all the hoses to the turbo, IC piping, exhaust, intake, IAT, fuel pump, install gauges, and put the car back together.

I want to tow it because 400 miles is alot of miles for something to break and be stuck if I can't fix it on the spot.

It's not necessarily bad to run the IAT just dangling. It just will read a little warmer. You could just try to drill a hole in the charge pipe, install a rubber grommet and put the sensor in. Then dab a little silicone sealant around to keep it nice and snug but I would constantly worry about it.
