Hey Phil: who is making the flange on your downpipe? Yours came unfinished, right? Mine did and from what I was told that is pretty standard.
The flange on my downpipe is a circular type the connects to the test pipe that is a circular type that fits together with the downpipe and is tightened together with an exhaust clamp.

My downpipe did not come with a flange on it. It is an unfinished piece of pipe. The reason for this is the manufacturer does not know whether you have a header-back exhaust or a cat-back exhaust, so the pipe comes unfinished allowing the buyer to custom fit it.

Yes that was how mine was suppose to come but my kit came with the 3" downpipe back exhaust kit. So its all set-up to fit together. What are you going with for exhaust?
