Default Increased boost

I am planning to go to 7-8lbs boost on my Ap1. using comptech pulley and belt. Do I need to do any other engine mods or will I be okay at stock settings for the comptech kit?

im doing the same thing. i ordered a 3.85'' pulley from ASPracing. it should put out about 7.5 psi (i have the aftercooler, so im expecting a .5lb loss in boost). I also just ordered the 7405 ngks from kragen and a 39'' gatorback belt from autozone. Also u need to dyno it to make sure your A/F ratio is safe.

I use 7173's.

As for going to 7#, I strongly suggest hitting up a tuner immediately after install. They can't do much more than adjust the Comptech fpr, but chances are you'll be running lean out of the box and will need that adjustment.

After that, check your plugs frequently. Good luck and have fun.
