So does that mean your on board also? Are you going to wait for me to finish this time or are you going in with me again?

Well, I noticed my overflow was low, so I put a few cups of antifreeze in and after my drive home I noticed that there was coolant splattered on the cross member and around the coolant bottle.

So, I have some choices to make now.

1.) Install the factory HG until I can get time to pull the motor. I am moving so this may be next year.

2.) Use a thick head gasket and take my chances again

What do you think?

god that sucks......

dumb question but how does coolant get splattered on the cross member?

How many miles on the Headgasket?
what PSI where you at?
how hard did you beat on the car?

Damn Scott. What happened? I would probably go with the OEM headgasket and some ARP headstuds.

Did it just slosh out of the bottle?
Mine has done that on occasion since the car pulls so damn hard and the cap doesn't seal.

If the system gets over pressureized then it relieves through the overflow bottle and it splatters out from there.

I have about 1000miles on it

I have been running 14-18PSI

I am not easy on it but not that hard either

So have you ever seen the coolant level really high or full to where it is coming out? I have 7700 miles on mine.
