Ya took care of me at Inline, I am going to pull my head and give their gasket a shot.

It should be in next week and I will try and tear down then.
Definitely what I would do Scott.

Less rewarding imo.

I'd still buy a fast car, and make it faster, just my nature.

im going to have to try your radiator cap trick and see what it does on my car. I get spillage on my coolant out of the bottle, but it is NEVER high in the level.. I think it just sloshes out.

I honestly dont think its a problem. My oil has always been clean and my water level is usually always constant in my bottle, only moving up a half of inch or so when hot and down that much when cold..
IMO if it was bad it would be filling the coolant bottle and then emptying it when cold like everyone else who has had a blown gasket.

I have blown inline pro 3mm head gasket too. It has approximately 6000 miles on it. A leak down test confirmed that the head gasket is blown. Below are signs of my blown head gasket:
1) On intial start it smokes
2) Coolant splashes out of the reserve bottle
3) It over heats
4) Bottom radiator hose is cold

I will be installing a new inline pro head gasket this weekended or next weekend.

Did you originally use studs? Have you decked the head surface?

Any guesses as to why you had the failure?
