The powder coater called and they got all but my intake manifold done. So I started mockup and assembly. Also got the manifold ported, tapped for the pyrometers then coated.

Red chargepipes and compressor housing Interesting!
I would recommend that you leave those pipes to the last thing you put into the enginebay to reduce risk of unwanted scratches.

Yes definatly, but I did have them powder coated so it should hold up well.

I capped each of the EGR holes, installed the Turbo, oil pan, welded on the intcooler brackets, hung the exhaust and a few other goodies. I am surprised that no one else has blocked off the EGR. I don't have my intake now but it seems if you did not do this and removed your EGR valve you would constantly recirc exhaust.

I am disapointed with the intercooler fitment, in the pictures below you can see that the IC does sits below the bumper opening and there is a large gap above it. I hope they send the wrong intercooler?????

Looks like the heater control valve will have to be relocated also.

Use 1/4 x 20 tap for the holes.

If you want the intercooler to sit up high enough for it to fill the entire grill, you need to notch the frame rails and make holes further up in your brackets. You only gotta go another inch and it will look fine.

All inline kits do this, i dont really know why. I just made new brackets and it was fine.

I really like the picture quality of this thread. Very nice to follow. Will be interesting to see final results. How much power are you intending?
