I have a lot of close connections at 3 shops, 2 of which are within like 10 miles of my house. ^Wadzii that air pump delete was supposedly defective was it not? If I just put a blockoff plate on the car will that eliminate the cels from the air pump?

as far as i can tell there is no lift for flow sensor in the air valve so using the block off plate is fine, but you will still need the other parts to keep from getting a cel.

idk about the kit actually working.. i 'assumed' it worked

Will a setup with the Hondata ECU throw a CEL if things like the air pump or secondary 02 sensor are missing?

Just weighing in on my options and trying to get some more info. I know the hondata works with the OBDII port but does it require all the factory shit to be functional too?

i was under the impression that the vin is not tied to the ecu in s2000s

however if it is, put the ecu in a friends s2k, pay them for a tank of gas, and take it in to a friend that does inspections with your registration info.

like i said, make some friends

And when the vin on the car and the vin on the ecu don't match, what then? You really didn't think that through.

who cares if the vins dont match? if you know the person thats inspecting theyre going to know where it came from.

ill look into that issue you mentioned jason, however i had my integra(98) passed by a friend without issue. i didnt even have the car present.

THAT is a damn good idea Casey. I never even considered that possibility . I know a few guys around here with silverstones that would probably be willing to help me out if I held up my end of the deal. Im sure thats worth some gas and 2 trips to buffalos at least
