IP stage 2 progress and help thread
wow. for such an EXPENSIVE kit. the fitment and workability simply doesn't match. i am very surprised. i expected better for the cost.
hell, for the price you pay for their stuff, you should be able to throw it in the general vicinity it belongs in and it should fall into place.
the whole mess of intercooler hanging out of the bumper and having to have it notched so the top 5 fins are totally useless.... thats just disappointing and it looks like crap.
plus, the kit intrudes on so many aspects of original engine bay component placement. like the oil filter issue and how close the hot-ass pipe comes to everything with nothing supplied by them to protect you original bay items.
where's the "fit and finish" Inline Pro?!

Although I'm not thrilled about everything, in their defense, it is a "full race" kit and stuff has to be modified to work.
For the intercooler, I chose to deviate the modification to the intercooler instead of the frame. After I am tuned, I will correct that issue. Not sure if I will have it cut down further so I can push it up more or just get a different intercooler, but for now, it will do.

^gonna see good number for sure!
i just cant believe they tell you to remove your actual crash beam bumper for a damn intercooler! are they crazy? that's foregoing safety for an overly large intercooler which is not anywhere near necessary if you have a properly sized turbo with efficiency islands in the area you want your hp to land in!
blows me away. now i know why customers come to us in place of "kits" like this. wow.
as for IP- if this is a "full race kit", it should be marketed as such on their site and list all the bs and race-prep methods needed to install this thing.

so its a custom bolt on kit. ehhh, whatever, get past the annoying stuff and then go make some seirous power. what you going for 700? 800?
Its overkill unless you're building the engine like I plan on doing later.
