Default issues with small odyssey batteries

Curious how many people have run the smaller odyssey batteries that live in cold whether areas and have an aftermarket amp? Looking to go Full Race kit and don't want trunk mounted battery if I can avoid it.

I have used my odyssey battery around freezing temps and it worked just fine. I had the 680 in my car, but I am not sure how it would work below freezing temps.

I've done it with a car in the mountains outside of Denver in an unheated garage. It wasn't fun. When it got really cold, I could plan on spending time with the battery charger hoping and praying that the car would start. Those batteries work, but they just don't have much CCA. At that low of a temperature, I might only get one try to start the car before the battery died...

I had it through the winter in Virginia. I would be scrapping the ice off my windshield daily and it would start right up or within two tries. I did however have a problem where when i would turn the car off to run into a gas station to get smoke the car wouldnt start for about 30mins to an hour. Then it would start like nothing was wrong. I switched to a yellow top and the problem went away.
