Outrageous is an understatement Bernard, they worked out at $70 each once UK duty and tax were paid.
The L19/H11 ARP headstuds for the S2k were only $70 a set? I paid like $350 or something like that through FB.

Bernard is a great guy to work with for sure!

The ARP studs are L19/H11?

Arp is the maker of the L19's. We have them in our K series cars. However, Arp won't give the measurements out due to the other company bought the rights.

Been following this thread from the jump.

1st I live in Orlando FL. about 4 miles away from KINGS. Never had an issue with Fernando or Sergio... I used to see Sergio drive by my middle school in his EVO when I was just a kid. I'm 26 now. I will say this confidently they know what they are doing! I just cant wrap around you buy a used block let it sit for a year a sleeved iron block at that. put 1200 miles on it.. After they already Raced on the same block? Then blame them for building you a motor that your tuner is scared to tune. After you didn't take care of a sleeved block or lube or rotate with freezing winters causing rust for a year. Then you didn't even do a leak down check or have the motor inspected when you got the motor?
Purchased a built motor for $5500 complain the motor isn't as clean to your liking Then they cover you a new sleeved block and shipping.. And your still bad mouthing them... Sad...

It ain't sad buddy,it's expensive, what I was expecting and what I got was a world apart.I wasn't the one making the claim that the returned engine was going to be like new.If you had read this properly you may have picked up on the fact that the original engine didn't even make it to the Dyno.So I've no adea where the 1200 miles came from.I could easily have bought component parts and built an "new built engine",but Fernando did a pretty good job of selling what was basically his own (not Kings Performance)engine the he informed me had only done around 1000 miles.

I trusted him,I knew I wasn't getting a new engine but for $5000(it actually cost me $8.000,but if Fernando admitted that's how much I paid it would make him look bad) I should reasonably have expected a running engine, not a 150kg paper weight.

Im going ahead and having the engine rebuilt over here with all new components, but if you've read all this then you already know that.

I am fed up with re-writing what's already been wrote because some people are selective in what they see and what they want to believe.

If you had read this from start to finish as you claim you may possibly have realised that I looked after the engine exactly how Fernando advised me to.

It's quite strange really how I managed to look after the engine of a Pitts Special in an open ended hanger for 12 years which coincidently had steel liners with no issues.I had the faith in my own ability to go out and fly the thing......but I can't look after a badly built car engine, mmmmmm strange.

If you are happy to deal with these cowboys then go right ahead.

That's what I have heard also. It's possible they were bought out or colluded with another company and just the A1 name has gone away but I'm just speculating.
